Elaine joined Sherwin O’Riordan Solicitors in 2015 bringing over 10 years of professional experience and a particular interest in civil litigation and personal injury litigation. She qualified as a solicitor in 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, as well as qualifications in Irish from the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Elaine’s primary area of expertise is in the fields of civil litigation and personal injury litigation. In addition, she has significant experience with family law, probate and wills, administrative law and debt recovery.

• We successfully advised Thomas Hill in his negligence claim against the HSE for significant disability caused by the accidental tear of his ureter while removing a kidney stone in 1998. Our client was awarded €701,000, which included over €400,000 for lost earning to date and in the future, in addition to €250,000 general damages.
